Cold Summer Shoes

.. do you know this song? Sometimes when I go shopping a do bumble it, especially in case of footwear. I don’t know why but maybe it’s because I already have enough shoes and really don’t need a new pair, but as all women one more doesn’t really matter at all. Last time I bought some Lacoste boots – turquoise ones. At the first glance I loved the superior suede uppers and the patent details at the heel. I also like the flat heel, cause  it’s really hard to find some good looking flatties. And sometimes I just prefer comfortable shoes, but of course good looking ones.
And those boots are really made for walking. They are so comfortable, comfortable and comfortable. ;) I’m already thinking about buying a second pair, cause there are two more colors: Black and brown. We will see.
Winter is coming and we have to get ready, especially concerning  clothes and footwear. Winter Jackets were already discussed but beside  good footwear is also important to feel warm and cosy during cold winter days. Boots with robust plastic wedges are trendy as well as flat boots in used look or shoes with fur applications. Extravagant looking shoes seem to be the must have for winter 2010/11, but, if you don’t want to have shoes just for one season,  more elegant and clean-lined models are maybe  the better choice. You can hardly do something wrong with such shoes. Simple winterboots in black or brown will be fashionable also for the next winter season. Just take those two winterboots, from Lacoste and UGG. (Yes, shoes Lacoste are more than trainers, the footwear collection also includes some really nice winterboots) But back to the topic. Beside the extravagant UGGs with the flur apllication the black Lacoste boot really looks borring. But next season the Lacoste boot can be worn again for sure but the UGG boot? Not for sure and 200 £ just for one season is too much money…
The perfect winter boots are those you choose in the morning if you do not really want to get out of bed into the cold, which fit to long-sleeves dresses as well as to cozy cashmere items in muted color, and then, later in the evening, are yet chic enough to go out and have some fun. And of course they must be warm, I mean, we are women and winter is  freezing time.. ;)
Anyway,  winter boots must be allrounders and luckily most of them are! You should have more than one pair. A simple and maybe flat one for long days at the office and some with heels, for exemple wedgies. I like wedge heels and for me this is the must have for autumn/ winter 2010.
